Carla Robles with Watson’s Heathrow office has been recognized by her team as an outstanding team member who rises above the norm and contributes to her community.
Robles has been a longtime supporter of the American Lung Association (ALA) and LUNG FORCE, a branch that supports and unites women and their loved ones across the country to stand together against lung cancer and for lung health. According to the ALA website, lung cancer is the #1 cancer killer of both men and women in the U.S., and every five minutes a woman in this country learns she has lung cancer.
Robles believes in raising awareness for this underrepresented cause. Each year she participates in the walk/run for LUNG FORCE, and this year, due to COVID-19, they were able to continue their efforts virtually. Through fundraising efforts with the LUNG FORCE virtual run/walk on June 27, in co-sponsorship with Advent Health, Robles’ team raised over $1,300, which was well above their fundraising goal!
Robles’ American Lung Association Central Florida team was so grateful and thanked her on Facebook for her continued support and dedication to the mission.

“I have been a supporter for six years with LUNG FORCE due to my mother passing of a lung disease,” said Robles. “This group of people hold a very close place in my heart, and I will continue to support the fight [against] lung diseases.”
