Hubbard House Gets a Helping

The Hodges office continues its efforts to support Hubbard House, a shelter for victims of domestic abuse located in Jacksonville.

Earlier this year the Hodges office conducted a drive for food and other pantry items needed, and for Christmas they provided gifts for a mother and her three children.

“This was our first year helping Hubbard House, but it won’t be our last,” said Hodges office Administrative Assistant Cathy Becker. “Hubbard House and the mother & family we helped out were very appreciative of our efforts and everyone at the Watson Hodges office was thrilled to be able to help a family in need. This year, thirty-seven families in need were able to celebrate the holidays during a particularly challenging time in their lives due to the support from the community.”

According to their website, Hubbard House serves Duval and Baker Counties and is a full-service certified domestic violence center. They have answered more than 101,500 hotline calls and sheltered more than 42,900 survivors and their children in its lifesaving and life-changing 44-year history.

We are so proud of our Hodges office and their continued efforts to help our community.
