Another fabulous year of Watson Realty Corp. and Watson Mortgage Corp. teaming up together for the annual Lung Force Walk/Run in Orlando.
Watson Heathrow Assistant Manager Carla Robles and her daughter Sarah participate each year in honor of Carla’s mother. This is their seventh year participating. Denise Pantaleon from Watson Mortgage also participates, and this is her second year.
This year, the event was held May 8 and began bright and early while the sun just started to rise at 6:30 AM and took place at Sea World in Orlando.
The annual event is the American Lung Association's signature outdoor series to support and promote lung health. According to the Lung Force website, “The Walks and Run/Walks provide critical funds for lifesaving research and early detection.”
“We love the walk because it’s a time of reflection for those who we have left behind and also a time to reflect on hope for the future,” said Robles.
According to the Lung Force website, the run was a success and they raised 100% of the intended goal this year – over $70K.
