Every Dog Has its Day

On Saturday, February 26th the DeLand office proudly represented Watson Realty Corp. at the annual DeLand Mardi Gras on Main Street Dog Parade! Present were broker Jill Edgington along with agents Reagan Stanley, Ruthann Costa, Bethany Buczko, Pauline Demartin, Maryfrances Walsh, Bonnie McCleary, Juanita Valentine, and Amy Cordrick. Also present was MLO Michelle McArtney, representing Watson Mortgage Corp.

A tail-wagging fun group, they brought their dogs dressed in colorful costumes while greeting guests and handing out hundreds of Watson-branded drink koozies, chip-clips, Mardi Gras beads, and grocery bags that folks used to collect goodies during the event.

“Pretty as a Speckled Pup” the Mardi Gras dogs marched down Main Street in Deland, FL 

An annual tradition, the dog parade drew thousands from Central Florida and featured colorful floats, delicious food, and authentic Mardi Gras costumes and beads for spectators. The parade is presented by the Krewe of Amalee, Inc., a non-profit organization that has donated over $550,000 to local organizations benefiting the arts, fragile families, and humane pet centers.
