On Friday, October 7, associates from the St. Augustine Beach office, as well as Watson Mortgage Corp. and Watson Title N. FL, Inc., took part in the Scholarship Fund Bowling Event held at Anastasia Lanes in St. Augustine.
Over 100 people attended the fun event where Watson representatives bowled and handed out goodie bags filled with Watson jar openers and pens. Alongside St. Johns County Board of REALTORS®, they raised approximately $7,700.00 for the scholarship fund which assists St. Johns County high school seniors pay for college or trade school.
Since 2000, the St. Augustine and St. Johns County Board of REALTORS®, where Watson Mortgage Corp. is a Platinum Corporate Sponsor, has awarded more than $200,000.00 in scholarships. To qualify, students must submit an application, transcript, essay, and three letters of recommendation. Recipients are chosen in a blind selection process.
