On Tuesday, December 6, associates from the Longwood office partook in a tour of Italy followed by a Secret Santa Exchange at their office where they had hors d’ oeuvres catered by Papa Joe's Pizza & Italian Restaurant in Altamonte Springs and other Italian food from Publix.
Sarita chose the “Tour of Italy” theme because, simply stated, everyone loves Italian food!
After eating, the team played a round of “Dirty Santa” where they stole desirable gifts (ranging between $15.00 - $20.00) from one another in a fit of laughter and light competition.
They had a blast eating good food and razzing each other in the spirit of the holidays.
In other news, the City of Longwood hosted their annual Christmas Parade on Saturday, December 10, an event that marks the official opening of the Christmas season with the arrival of Santa Claus who appeared toward the end of the parade.
Included in the event were floats, antique vehicles, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, clowns, animal performances, several dance troupes, and much more. Guests were encouraged to picnic there with chairs, blankets, and coolers, and enjoy food from the Citizens on Patrol Concession Food Trailer.
The Longwood Team marched in the parade with a Grand Turismo Omolgato – or GTO for short – an Italian name for a road-racing vehicle, in this case an antique car owned by Watson associate Deborah Perry.
Last, but certainly not least, on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, Longwood associates received a wonderful gift at their beautiful Longwood office: a visit from Mr. William Watson, Jr. and his son, William III. Mr. Watson was in the office to announce the retirement of Gary DeChellis, President of Watson Title. Afterword, he stopped by the Longwood office to chat with some of the associates.
