The ChampionsGate team gave back to local children in need by sponsoring “First Friday Kids,” where they donated food and clothing items for weekend backpacks and at Christmastime, they sponsored Angel Tree Kids, a program designed to provide area children with gifts for the holidays.
A registered nonprofit organization, the First Friday Kids Support Group was formed by a group of local small business owners who wanted to help underprivileged children by improving their quality of life. Today, the group works closely with local school staff to identify those in need of food, clothing, and school supplies and then helps them get what they need to thrive. They also support other local organizations with their time and monetary donations, such as Give Kids The World, The Green Bag Project, East Coast Migrants Head Start Project, Ridge Youth Football and Cheer, and Davenport School of the Arts.
ChampionsGate has partnered with The First Friday Kids Support Group for the past several years, collecting food, filling wishes for their Angel Tree Program, and hosting Bingo events to help raise money for this amazing cause.
Making children’s dreams come true is a pretty awesome way to give back. Thank you, ChampionsGate associates!
