On Thursday, May 4, associates from the Nocatee office set sail on a voyage of fun and mystery when they hosted a pirate-themed murder-mystery party, an evening filled with pillaging and plundering, bringing together associates from Duval Station, Westside, San Marco, and Orange Park. The evening was filled with suspense and intrigue as participants delved into a thrilling tale of hidden treasure where they set out to find the culprit responsible for creating mutiny.
The Nocatee office was temporarily transformed into a seaworthy vessel of adventurous spirits with colorful balloons and banners, setting the stage for a suspenseful evening. Participants arrived in full marauder gear, wearing pirate hats and eye patches and were well-armed with daggers and swords. At one point, Samantha Heflin proclaimed that Bouncy Betty did not do it, but one might wonder if that was simply a ploy to deflect attention away from herself. Hmm…
With his discerning observations and shrewd attention to detail, Michael Robinson from Orange Park took on the role of Master of Mystery, skillfully piecing together the puzzle, but it was ultimately Joe Helfenberger from Westside who solved the mystery and exposed Barbara Walsh as the sly villain behind the devious plot to seize the treasure. Walsh had meticulously crafted a scheme of turmoil and deceit, but she was ultimately no match for Joe’s cunning investigative skills.
At the end of the evening, all were relieved as justice prevailed, the truth came out, and lots of fun and laughs were had!
