This year, the Easter bunny had a friendly competition in mind for the Watson Hodges office that was a little different than the traditional Easter egg hunting.
Watson Hodges office associate, Holly Van Cleave, asked her farm area customers to enter an Easter coloring contest for kids. Children of all ages were invited to participate in the contest to win some fabulous prizes.
The objective was to color a photo of the Easter bunny to win 3rd, 2nd, or 1st place. The prizes consisted of a $15 Target gift card (1st), a $10.00 Target gift card (2nd), and an Easter basket filled with beach toys (3rd).
“As a child, I loved to color and won a contest at my church,” said Van Cleave. “I was trying to find a way to bring a bright moment into the kids’ lives in my farm area who have been undoubtedly affected by the isolation of Covid-19 and to encourage their creative side.”
The kids were all smiles as they were awarded certificates and their respective prizes.
“It was so fun to see the unique creativity of each child who entered, and my favorite part was meeting the winners and giving them their prizes!” said Van Cleave.
We love seeing those joyful faces! A happy Easter, indeed.
