Celebrate the Season with Watson Longwood

The Watson Longwood office truly got into the holiday spirit in their community this year.

The Longwood office participated in the City of Longwood Christmas Parade on December 4, and this is their third year in a row participating in the parade. They are the only real estate company that participates (talk about Watson exposure!).

According to their website, the City of Longwood Parade is organized by the Longwood Citizens on Patrol with the assistance of the Longwood Police Department, the City of Longwood, the Longwood Fire Department, and many volunteers. About 3,000 people from the local community are in attendance and over 100 entries into the parade itself.

One of the Watson Longwood team members, Deborah Perry, and her husband, Russ, own a vintage car and enter it into the parade.

“We outfit it with Watson magnets, dress festively, and wave at the crowd while carrying a banner spreading Watson cheer to the local community!” said VP/Managing Broker Sarita Cabrera.

The parade includes vintage vehicles, floats, cyclists, clowns, monster trucks and, of course, Santa Clause!

And the Longwood office didn’t stop there. Next, they headed to Celebrate the Season at Reiter Park Longwood on December 10.

The Longwood Office has participated in the City of Longwood's holiday event at Reiter Park for three years in a row. The event draws about 6,000 people from the local area.

“Again, we're the only real estate company that participates, and we also sponsored Santa and Mrs. Clause, who, of course, were the hit of the night!” said Sarita.

The Watson office created a festive booth to promote Watson and to engage in fun activities and games, including a spinning wheel. Participants would spin the wheel and get prizes. The office gave away two “Watsonopoly” games, ten Watson Roman Holiday Bags, Watson Jar Openers, Watson Title and Watson Mortgage branded pens, Mortgage koozies and Band-Aids, and many more donations from the associates, including travel coffee mugs and antler ears for the kids. They also handed out Watson coloring books and bags filled with information on buying and selling.

“Our booth had a constant flow of traffic all night long from 5-9 p.m.,” said Sarita.

Photos: The Watson Longwood booth was a total hit! We bet they’re on the Nice list every year.

What a great way to get into the holiday spirit and spread the Watson name to our community! Way to go, Longwood!
