Over Memorial Day weekend, associates from the Watson Putnam County Office represented Watson Realty Corp. at the annual Blue Crab Festival in Palatka where they handed out goodies from Watson Mortgage and Title to draw in a crowd and get to know the locals and visitors alike.
Associate Tiffani Williams was instrumental in organizing the logistics for the weekend event and participating were Wes Walker, Spring Maynard, Ranada Walker, Tina Arant, and Jason Rogers spent the day sharing local market information and gave away Watson bags stuffed with free swag, jar openers, and cookies. Watson Mortgage provided a $50 Lowes gift card, Watson Title provided a crab-themed gift basket, and the team as a whole generated lots of conversations with visitors and encouraged upwards of 70 people to register for the drawings.
The Blue Crab Festival is one of the most anticipated events of the year and has been a part of Palatka’s Riverfront Memorial weekend events for nearly 30 years. The first year back following COVID, the festival was deemed a huge success.
The free family-friendly event featured a full-day concert line-up of regional musicians and national headliners, a fireworks show, dozens of vendors and food trucks, carnival rides, a seafood kickoff, kids’ zone, petting zoo, and – of course – plenty of blue crabs.
The festival draws thousands of visitors each year and is held in remembrance of the members of the U.S. military who died while serving our country.
Way to represent, Watson Putnam County Office!
