On Friday, November 25, Tina Arant and other associates from the Putnam County office participated in the annual Palatka Christmas Parade where they handed out about a thousand Watson bags filled with assorted candy and jar openers.
A Palatka tradition since 1909, the parade is held every year on the day after Thanksgiving. This year’s theme was “A Florida Christmas” and floats topped with Christmas lights marked the start of the holiday season as children dove for candy while eagerly awaiting Santa’s arrival. With well over 100 parade participants, the event was a big hit with children and adults alike and the children received a special treat when Santa himself stopped by for photos and to hear what was on their Christmas list.
Sounds like an amazing way to network while having a great time with the kids of Putnam County!
