Helping Hands for Hurricane Helene

In early October, after seeing the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, customers and agents from Watson Intracoastal and North Mandarin offices took action in raising donations from Watson customers to support the victims of the storm.

The team began with a call to action on their digital billboard to ask customers to drop off much-needed items such as food, water, diapers, emergency items, and more. Donna Overman and agent Laura Brennen were able to organize a team through Brennen’s son who was part of a group that drove the donations to North Carolina several weeks ago.

The offices also donated supplies to Shepherd of the Woods Lutheran Church, who transported donations to the west coast of Florida after the Milton storm.

“It was a group effort of many of us collecting and finding others to help us transport and deliver,” said Intracoastal Managing Broker Sandi Wagner. “Shout out to Laura Brennan and Donna Overman for assisting us! We are always helping to make a difference for others...”

A heroic and honorable way to make a difference to the victims of Helene, Intracoastal and Mandarin North offices! Thank you for representing Watson and our core value of Teamwork to show how we can come together to help others.
